A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a certain e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. To put it differently, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten email address under the very same domain, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you run a business, for example. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk emails, you can combine the catch-all option with anti-spam filters so as to receive only real emails in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without any difficulty in case you have a hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet incredibly simple to work with, and it will permit you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve got will be displayed alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will see a tiny "Catch-all" sign. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking it once again will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another one with this feature activated or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting service with us and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the mailboxes that you set up using any domain hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this option will be to click on that icon. In the exact same manner you will be able to remove the feature, if you do not need it any longer. Our system will warn you if you’re trying to activate a second catch-all mailbox for a certain domain name or if there is enabled email forwarding, but it will never change or deactivate anything automatically or without your permission.
